CMAT 2018 - Exam Dates, Pattern, Registration, Syllabus, Eligibility

CMAT 2018 or Common Management Aptitude Test is conducted by AICTE under the supervision of MHRD, Government of India. CMAT is a computer based test. CMAT 2018 exam format allows candidates to switch between sections during the exam. CMAT 2018 test takers will be awarded a total of 4 marks for every correct answer. CMAT 2018 has negative marking system and deducts 1 mark for every wrong answer. CMAT 2016 allows candidates interested in MBA/PGDM courses to take a trial test before the actual exam. CMAT test date has not been announced yet.

CMAT 2018 will give extra time of 1 hour for a 3 hour long test, to candidates who are visually impaired or have cerebral palsy. About CMAT Examination

CMAT
  • CMAT stands for Common Management Aptitude test which is conducted by All India Council of Technical Education every year, as per the direction of Ministry of Human Resource Development of India, Government of India.
  • One can select up-to 3 cities in India giving order of preference towards their test cities. The first choice of city will be given due consideration and weightage. However, actual allotment as per order of choice will be subject to availability of the slot in that particular city.
  • Visually Impaired or Cerebral Palsy Candidates will be given a time extension of twenty minutes for every hour of the test, thus for 3 hour test they will get a total of 'One Hour' extra.
  • The CMAT 2017 exam score will be valid for the admissions to academic year 2017-18 only.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam.
  • Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2017-18 can also apply for CMAT online exam.

  • One can change between the sections at any time.
  • For each correct answer there are 4 marks, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted.
  • A Trial test will be available from 15-Dec-2016. onwards for the candidates to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality.
